These top three baby carriers are rated based on personal-experience as a two-boy mama. I have used all three of these carriers and love them equally for different reasons. In addition to these top three of my FAVORITE carriers, I’ve probably tried half a dozen more.
I have two wonderful baby boys, both of which LOVED to be worn. Yes, this mama was a baby wearer up until her kids were at least 18 months old. They loved every minute of it, and I thoroughly enjoyed being hands free to get whatever done that needed to be done around the house or when we were out and about.
Both kids loved being close to mama, and they slept comfortably when I wore them. Being hands-free made life so much easier for mama, and dada even enjoyed wearing them from time-to-time!
Simple, easy to use but more spendy. This is the best for newborns and young babies before they are 6 months old. It is also the most user-friendly for new mama’s.
This is the simplest of all carriers. Boba has three carriers and a few wraps to choose from! With different prints of course.
I enjoyed the wrap once I became a more experienced baby wearer. There are so many different options with the wraps! The carrier is used mainly for baby facing mama on the front.
If you are looking to start out with something a big less pricey, but comfortable and fitting. Try the Baby K’atan. It can be tricky to get on some times, but it is extremely comfortable for both mom and baby.
The loose material forms to your body, and you can pick a few different positions to hold baby.
I do find that this one works better for younger children. There are also different sizes of the Baby K’atan! This makes it easier and more comfortable to fit. This one is a great place to start!
ErgoThe Ergobaby Omni 360 Baby Carrier: When You Need Every Option
As I said, both kids love seeing everything from up high and facing forward. Through the airport, they have to see what is going on in front of them and enjoy watching all of the sights. The 360 makes that possible. They can be on my front, facing me or front, and on my back!
The best part about this is that there are so many more options than just in the front, facing mama. Kids LOVE to see the outside world, so let them embrace their surroundings. And there you have it, Top 3 Baby Carriers in a nutshell. I could go on and on about how baby wearing is beneficial for both mom and baby. But I think I’ve covered the basics for you!
That’s all you need to get started. Wear that baby, and you’ll never regret it one bit!A carried baby is a happy baby. Ergobaby, THE top name in baby carriers! Free Shipping.
Easy to be hands-free
It is so much easier to be hands-free, mama. Our second born had reflux and was a very cranky baby. With a toddler running around and trying to make dinner all at the same time, it was easier to just wear the little one.
He would get all nestled in the Ergo during dinner time and nap while I cooked. HANDS-FREE MAKES THINGS EASY! Drinking coffee, eating dinner, playing outside or even walking the airport.
Of course, my top is the Ergo, among many other mama’s out there. The comfort level doesn’t compare to any other baby carrier I have tried and it seems to help with distributing weight to limit back strain. Next would be the Baby K’atan, and lastly the Boba (I really LOVED the wrap!).
Drop your comments and tell us what carrier worked best for you! These are just the Top 3 Baby Carriers based on my personal experience. I am proud to say that I am a baby wearing mama, and it was one of my favorite things to do with our boys when they were little. They loved to swing their legs and wave to everyone when they faced forward.
Cheers to all of my baby-wearing mama’s out there!
