To my baby boys, you will always be my babies. I will always be your mama.
The days that you were born were the most wonderful days of my life. My heart grew with an infinite amount of love that I never knew existed.
To my baby boys, there have been many sleepless nights when you were sick. I rocked you, held you, and kissed you all night long. My heart broke when you were ill. I put all things on hold and nursed you back to health because I will always be your mama.
To my baby boys, we used to have weekend plans out with friends and party the night away. We now spend our time with your sweet soul, changing diapers and cleaning up after you. We read you bedtime stories, pray and sing songs. We would not trade it for the world, because I will always be your mama.
To my baby boys, I am sorry I lost my patience and yelled. Know that I feel guilty and it is never o.k. to yell. I am exhausted and this is no excuse. We will raise you to be strong, independent and respectful of. It is my job to teach you these things because I will always be your mama.
To my baby boys, the days that you were learning to crawl and walk were long and there were many scrapes, bumps, and bruises. I would pick you up, kiss the owie away and bandage you up. I will always pick you up and help make the pain go away because I will always be your mama.
To my baby boys, I know you have big emotions and the many temper tantrums that you have are temporary, they are okay to have and I will let you grow to learn your emotions. I will hold you, hug you and wipe those tears away because I will always be your mama.
To my baby boys, you may be angry with us for some days. We only want the best for you. Our lives and ourselves are on hold because you are our life. There is nothing more important. You are our sunshine and teach us to be kind, gentle and patient in a whole new way. I promise to learn from you because you will teach us new things every day, and boy you will move mountains. I will always be here when you come home to us because I will always be your mama.
To my baby boys, someday I will need to let go and trust that we have shown you all you need to know to go through this crazy thing called life. But for now, you are my babies and I will hold on tight for this rollercoaster of a ride. You are strong, you will do great big things, and when the day comes I will let you spread those beautiful wings of yours to fly on your own. I will never go anywhere but right here.
In a letter to my babies, may you know that I will always be your mama.
